Originally recorded as a demo in Livingston, Montana in February of 2022, Walkin' Slow was then preformed live at Static Age Records in Asheville, NC in March of the same year featuring Mike Holmes on bass, Will Younts on drums and Landon George singing and playing guitar.

This trio entered Drop Of Sun studio later that year with the intention of making a fully improvised record under the name All I Ever Wanted Was A House I Could Scream In, but started the session by recording "Walkin' Slow."
